HERE was originally a student project. The brief was a sustainable restaurant brand that would be possible to expand into other areas as well. The project included brand identity, brand strategy, a launch campaign and advertising both in print and digital.

My focus became to communicate that humans are still part of nature, and the need for a kinder food culture and having urban life and nature meet. Kind of making nature natural to humans again. I wanted to convey optimism and positivity.
Concept
The logo
Concept
The concept is based in a re-joining/re-connection to nature, but as we are with our modern way of life, a blending of nature and urban. I came up with the name HERE to reflect where we are at (in time) to make a positive change right here we are (place).
The logo
I wanted a logo that would illustrate the cycle of, and inter-dependence in, an ecosystem (stacked) that all life depends on. I also wanted a logo that could form part of a phrase or a sentence (horizontal). And I wanted it to feel optimistic, fun and a little zany.
